Stripping means interstitial reduction of the dental element, this procedure is done to solve the crowding by avoiding excessive proclination of the teeth. This procedure is used in Invisalign orthodontic as in classical one and has been extensively studied in the literature: it is excluded any link between stripping and the incidence of interproximal caries or the onset of thermal sensitivity.
